Dear Pensacola Families,
This summer, Pensacola FC’s Women’s 1559 team will be competing once again along the Gulf Coast, and as they prepare for the season, we are seeking host families and/or donated housing for our players from May 1 through mid-July. Many of these athletes are collegiate players who travel from across the country to represent Pensacola FC, and safe, welcoming housing is a critical part of making their season possible.
By opening your home — or an available property — you’re doing far more than providing a place to stay. You’re becoming part of a player’s journey.
As a host family or housing donor, you receive:
- The chance to truly get to know a player on a personal level and build a meaningful connection
- Season tickets to all Pensacola FC 1559 home matches
- A club merchandise appreciation gift
- And most importantly, the pride and gratitude that comes with knowing you directly helped your local semi-professional club succeed
We are seeking either host families willing to provide a private room with a bed and access to meals and/or kitchen or food storage space, or families who may have additional housing available, such as a guest house, in-law suite, or open rental property that could be donated for the summer season. Our players are respectful, focused, and incredibly grateful for the support of the families and community members who make their season possible, and they take great pride in representing Pensacola FC both on and off the field.
Hosting or donating housing is a unique experience — one that many families describe as deeply rewarding. It’s an opportunity to support women’s sports, invest in your local soccer community, and be able to say, “We helped make this season happen.”
If you’re not able to provide housing but would still like to support the team in other ways, we would absolutely love to hear from you as well. There are many meaningful ways to get involved, and every bit of support helps us continue building something special for soccer in our community.
